The process at Dr. Watts office is so streamlined and simple, it almost felt too easy. Well…. I don’t even know where to begin. This by far has been the best experience with Dr. Watts office and staff. What does a Neck Lift involve?
Neck lifts start with an incision at the hairline (sideburn position), and continue around the ear to the back of the head below the hairline. We lift the tissue below the neck skin and tighten some neck muscles. The fat in this area will also be sculpted or redistributed.
Once the tissue at the neck and jawline are lifted and sculpted, we place the skin back over the treatment area. Our plastic surgeons will remove any excess skin, and the incision will be closed with sutures.

How much does a neck lift cost?

What about nonsurgical options?
Surgery is the only way to eliminate excess skin, particularly if it droops or hangs. However, several nonsurgical skin tightening treatments may produce mild improvements. Neck lift surgery offers the most significant enhancements to smooth and redefine your neckline. A new and popular treatment called KYBELLA reduces fat in the upper neck, which gives the appearance of a double chin; however, it does not correct loose skin.
Will I have visible scars?
A neck lift does include one incision below the chin and two more near the ears. These are made so they are very difficult for others to see. Our surgeons try very hard during your surgery to limit visible scarring. A team member will explain scar care instructions that encourage your incisions to heal properly so they are thin and flat.
